RESIDENTIAL GARAGE DOOR REPAIR & INSTALLATION · INDIANAPOLIS, IN

Terms of Service

Last Updated: November 5, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of firstgaragedoorindy.com (the “Site”), operated by First Garage Door Repair LLC, doing business as First Garage Door Repair of Indianapolis (“First Garage Door Repair,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Please read these Terms carefully.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms primarily govern your use of the Site. They do not replace any estimate, work order, service agreement, authorization, change order, invoice, warranty documentation, or other agreement that may apply to garage door services performed for you.

1. About Our Services

We provide residential garage door repair, installation, replacement, maintenance, opener, and related services in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.

The Site provides general information about our business and services and allows visitors to contact us, request service, request information, or inquire about an appointment.

Information appearing on the Site does not guarantee that a particular service, product, part, technician, appointment time, price, promotion, or service area will be available.

2. Service Requests Do Not Create a Service Contract

Submitting a form, requesting an appointment, requesting an estimate, calling, texting, emailing, or otherwise contacting us does not by itself create a binding agreement for garage door services.

A service request is a request for us to contact you, evaluate your needs, schedule an appointment, provide information, or propose work.

Any agreement to perform garage door work will be governed by the applicable estimate, work order, service agreement, authorization, change order, invoice, or other service-specific documentation provided in connection with that work.

3. Estimates, Pricing, and Website Pricing Information

Prices, price ranges, starting prices, cost estimates, savings amounts, financing examples, discounts, or other pricing information appearing on the Site or in our advertising are provided for informational or promotional purposes unless expressly stated otherwise.

Actual pricing may depend on factors that cannot be determined from a website visit alone, including:

Where diagnosis or inspection is required, the price for proposed work will be communicated before that work begins, subject to additional work or changes later authorized by the customer.

Website content or advertising does not constitute a binding quote for a specific job unless we expressly state in writing that it is binding.

4. Service-Specific Agreements Control

Work performed for a customer may be governed by separate written documents, including an estimate, work order, service agreement, authorization, change order, invoice, warranty document, or other service-related terms.

If a service-specific written agreement conflicts with these Website Terms concerning the scope, price, timing, warranty, payment, cancellation, or performance of a particular service, the service-specific written agreement controls with respect to that service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, limit, or restrict a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived, limited, or restricted.

5. Advertising, Promotions, Coupons, and Special Offers

We may advertise our business, services, prices, discounts, coupons, financing opportunities, promotions, or special offers through the Site, search engines, advertising platforms, social media, email, text messaging where permitted, printed materials, or other channels.

Advertisements and promotions may be subject to specific conditions, including eligibility requirements; expiration dates; geographic or service-area limitations; qualifying services or products; minimum purchase requirements; limitations on parts, labor, or service categories; availability restrictions; manufacturer restrictions; or restrictions on combining multiple discounts or offers.

Any specific conditions stated in an advertisement, coupon, promotion, or offer are part of that offer. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions and discounts may not be combined.

An advertisement or promotional message does not guarantee that a particular product, part, appointment, technician, service, or price will be available in every circumstance.

We may correct typographical, technical, pricing, or publication errors in advertising or promotional materials.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a promotion prospectively where permitted by law. This does not affect a promotion that has already become part of a binding agreement with a customer.

Nothing in this section permits us to disregard an offer or consumer right that is binding under applicable law.

6. Advertising on Third-Party Platforms

You may encounter advertisements for First Garage Door Repair of Indianapolis on third-party platforms, including search engines, social media platforms, directories, maps, or other websites.

Those platforms may use their own technologies and information to determine which advertisements are displayed and to measure interactions with advertising.

Our collection and use of personal information associated with advertising, analytics, attribution, remarketing, or conversion measurement is described in our Privacy Policy.

Use of a third-party platform is also subject to that platform’s own terms and privacy practices.

7. Communications

When you provide contact information in connection with an inquiry or service request, you authorize us to use the contact methods you provide to respond to that request and communicate about your appointment, estimate, technician arrival, requested service, or related follow-up.

Text Messages

If you receive text messages from us, message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for assistance.

Marketing Communications

We may offer opportunities to receive marketing or promotional communications. Where separate consent is required by applicable law for marketing or promotional text messages, that consent will be requested separately. Consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Marketing programs may be subject to additional disclosures presented when you enroll.

8. Warranties

Any warranty applying to labor, parts, equipment, products, or services will be described in the applicable estimate, work order, invoice, manufacturer documentation, warranty documentation, or other written materials provided in connection with the service.

Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, are subject to the manufacturer’s terms, conditions, limitations, exclusions, and registration requirements.

No general statement on the Site creates a warranty applicable to a particular job unless that statement expressly identifies the warranty and the warranty applies to the product or service purchased.

Except for warranties expressly provided in writing in connection with services or products we provide, no additional warranty concerning those services or products is created by these Website Terms.

Workmanship Warranty

Every repair we perform is covered by a 12-month labor warranty from the date of service. If a repair we completed fails within that period, we return and correct it at no charge for labor.

Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty, passed through to you in full and documented on your invoice. Coverage on a part matches what its maker provides.

Springs are installed with a stated cycle rating, printed on your estimate and your invoice. Standard springs are rated around 10,000 cycles, roughly 7 to 10 years of typical use. High-cycle springs are available and last longer. Actual life depends on how often the door runs and how well it stays balanced.

The labor warranty covers:

It does not cover:

To make a claim, call (317) 588-0001 with your invoice number. We schedule a return visit and inspect the work. A warranty visit carries no after-hours charge — Same Price. Day or Night.

9. Garage Door Safety

Garage doors and related systems may contain heavy moving components, electrical equipment, and components operating under significant spring tension.

Information published on the Site is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not a substitute for professional inspection, diagnosis, repair, installation, or safety advice concerning your particular garage door system.

You should not attempt a repair solely because information about a problem, component, or repair procedure appears on the Site.

Garage door springs, cables, bottom brackets, and certain other components may cause serious bodily injury, death, or property damage if handled improperly.

If a garage door appears unstable, damaged, jammed, off track, or otherwise unsafe, avoid unnecessary operation or handling and seek appropriate professional assistance.

10. Accuracy and Availability of Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and current information. However, garage door products, manufacturers, models, specifications, pricing, availability, promotions, service areas, and other information may change.

We do not guarantee that all Site content will always be complete, current, accurate, error-free, or appropriate for every situation. We may correct, update, modify, or remove Site content as necessary.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, branding, photographs, videos, designs, layouts, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, scrape, commercially exploit, or otherwise reuse Site content without our prior written permission except as permitted by applicable law.

Third-party trademarks, manufacturer names, product names, logos, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to a third-party brand or manufacturer does not necessarily imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We may restrict access to the Site when reasonably necessary to protect our systems, customers, business, or other users.

13. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may link to or integrate with third-party websites or services, including mapping services, review platforms, manufacturers, financing providers, social media services, analytics services, advertising platforms, and other external resources.

We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, security, products, services, terms, or privacy practices of third-party websites or services. A link or reference to a third party does not necessarily constitute our endorsement of that third party. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms and policies.

14. Website Disclaimer

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND SITE CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES CONCERNING THE OPERATION, AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF THE SITE OR GENERAL SITE CONTENT EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

THIS WEBSITE DISCLAIMER DOES NOT ELIMINATE, MODIFY, OR REPLACE ANY EXPRESS WRITTEN WARRANTY THAT APPLIES TO GARAGE DOOR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES ACTUALLY PROVIDED TO A CUSTOMER.

15. Limitation of Liability for Use of the Site

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising solely from your access to, use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site or general Site content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or limits liability where applicable law does not permit such liability to be excluded, restricted, or limited.

Where applicable, those rights and disclosures will be addressed in the appropriate service-specific documentation. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive a right that applicable law does not allow a consumer to waive.

18. Governing Law

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where appropriate. The remaining provisions will remain in effect.

20. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or another provision in the future.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Site, services, advertising practices, business practices, or applicable requirements. When changes are made, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of these Terms. Changes apply prospectively from the date they are posted unless applicable law requires otherwise.
